PHOTOS: Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation Hosts the Breakthrough Ball in New York City

Children’s Cancer & Blood Foundation, the “oldest and largest organization in the United States dedicated to the care of children suffering from blood diseases and cancer” on Wednesday Oct. 27 hosted its 2010 “Breakthrough Ball.”

Katie Couric (anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and correspondent for 60 Minutes) was honored with the “Key to Life” award. Legendary singer/songwriter Daryl Hall and NBA Champion/Founder of The Trent Tucker Non Profit Foundation Trent Tucker received the prestigious “Breakthrough Spirit” Award.
