Pebble Beach, CA – Corporate leaders, philanthropists and the sports and entertainment industries came together for the 4th Annual Clay Walker Charity Classic to raise funds to support research for Multiple Sclerosis. The event was organized by BAMS, Clay Walker’s nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to finding answers and a cure for MS.
Over 80 golfers participated in the 3-day tournament of Multi-Platinum Country Music Artist, Clay Walker, which was played at the beautiful Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill and the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Course in California.
Celebrity participants included NBA great, Cliff Robinson, formerly of the Portland Trailblazers, singer and songwriter, David Osmond, of the beloved Osmond family, Country Music Artist, Chuck Wicks, and Nancy Davis, philanthropist and Executive of the Nancy Davis Foundation, among other high profile and recognizable attendees.
Highlights of the four-day festivities included a country western gala with performances by Clay Walker, David Osmond, and Chuck Wicks.
The event also included a spectacular dinner party and an entertaining closing award ceremony hosted by the Pebble Beach Company, which included an acoustic performance by Clay Walker that brought the audience to its feet.
The galas silent & live auction and donations to BAMS raised over $100,000.00.
All proceeds will be donated to fund MS research with the hope of finding a cure to the disease which has inflicted Clay Walker since 1996 along with millions of other people around the world.
Clay’s loyal fans had a great time and are already looking forward to returning next year and supporting Walker in his goal of eliminating Multiple Sclerosis.
